Request Your AppointmentTypically thought of as an anti-wrinkle treatment, BOTOX is approved by the FDA for treating excessive underarm sweating. When we inject small doses of BOTOX into the underarms, the active ingredient temporarily blocks the nerves that stimulate sweating. The results can last for 4 months or longer, but you’ll need additional treatments at some point.
Using radiofrequency (RF) energy combined with microneedling to treat excessive sweating provides patients with a longer lasting solution. The microneedling device delivers the radiofrequency energy, which heats the sweat glands and destroys them.
Targeted laser energy can heat and destroy sweat glands, which are primarily found in a specific layer of tissue under the skin of the underarms. LaseMD treatments penetrate the skin without damaging the surface—a technology called non-ablative lasers. This means downtime is virtually non-existent.
For the treatment of underarm sweating, lasers are useful in that they can precisely target, heat, and destroy the sweat glands, which are primarily found in a specific layer of tissue under the skin of the underarms.
You don’t have to live with excessive sweating. Request your friendly consultation today or give us a call at (402) 408-0017 to book your appointment.
