Different Uses of Harmony LITE

The versatility of the Harmony LITE platform is one of the reasons for its popularity. It can be used for skin rejuvenation or permanent hair reduction.

DYE-VL

Dye-VL technology is a light-based, non-invasive treatment used to minimize the appearance of certain skin conditions and rejuvenate the skin. We use the DYE-VL handpiece for treating pigmented and vascular lesions. What does that include?

Pigmented lesions: Age spots, freckles, moles, and other blemishes typically caused by sun exposure.

Vascular lesions: Spider veins, hemangioma, rosacea, and other skin conditions involving abnormal veins or blood vessels. Many of these are inherited traits, although some are the result of injury or UV damage.

The DYE-VL emits pulses of light absorbed by the abnormal blood vessels, destroying them without damaging the skin’s surface. A typical treatment takes about 30 minutes, but the exact time needed depends on the specific type of lesion being treated.
