What’s a Nefertiti Lift?
The Nefertiti lift, named after the ancient Egyptian queen known for her long, elegant neck, is performed by injecting BOTOX® Cosmetic into the lower face, neck, and jaw area. The procedure targets the platysma band of muscles, which runs vertically from the bottom of the face to the collarbone.
By strategically injecting BOTOX, which temporarily blocks nerve muscles that cause wrinkles, a Nefertiti lift can:
- Diminish lines around the bottom part of the face
- Smooth a dimpled chin
- Minimize sagging in the lower face
- Improve symmetry of the lower face, jaw, and neck
- Reduce neck lines

While our experienced injectors always prioritize your safety, it’s important to note that the use of botulinum toxin in the platysma is currently considered an off-label application by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
