How does EMFACE work?

Much like EMSCULPT NEO® noninvasive body contouring, EMFACE combines high-intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation (HIFES™) with synchronized radiofrequency (RF) energy to simultaneously treat facial skin and muscles. The RF energy heats the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production, while the HIFES technology induces the facial muscles to contract repeatedly.

This dual process lifts and sculpts facial contours while smoothing out wrinkles. EMFACE transforms your face’s framework from the inside out, tightening loose skin and naturally improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles without needles.

What happens during an EMFACE treatment?

Part of the appeal of EMFACE is that the procedure is quick and comfortable, and you will be in and out with virtually no downtime. Here’s what you can expect:

1. After lying down, we will gently cleanse your face.
2. Your provider will place applicators on your cheeks and forehead or under your chin (for Submentum).
3. As treatment begins, you will feel a warming sensation accompanied by rapid muscle contractions—this is not painful and is well-tolerated by patients.
4. After your treatment is complete, your provider will remove the applicators, and you will be on your way and back to your daily routine!

How long does it take to see results from EMFACE?

While you may observe some improvement after a single treatment, most patients require 3 to 4 sessions before achieving their desired results. How long do the effects of EMFACE last?
