We ask that patients arrive at least 30 minutes before their treatment so we can apply numbing cream. During the LaseMD treatment, the practitioner passes the handpiece over the skin. You may feel a mild warmth or tingling sensation as the laser works. Each session takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
Special serums with vitamin A, vitamin C, resveratrol, and tranexamic acid are applied to the treatment area immediately after the procedure. We apply a post-procedure cooling mask to calm and deeply hydrate the skin.
After the treatment, your skin may appear slightly red, like a mild sunburn, but this usually fades within a day or two. While your skin may feel red and sensitive for 1 or 2 days afterward, little to no downtime is involved.
