For this patient, the goal wasn't dramatically larger lips—it was creating soft, natural-looking volume while enhancing the lips' existing shape and definition. To accomplish this, we used one syringe of Juvederm® XC Plus, strategically placing small amounts of filler throughout the lips to improve hydration, definition, and symmetry while preserving natural movement and expression. As expected, mild swelling occurred immediately after treatment. This is a normal part of the healing process and typically improves over the next several days as the filler settles into the tissue. Patients are provided with detailed aftercare instructions to help minimize swelling and support optimal healing.

Once the initial swelling resolved, the lips appeared fuller, more defined, and better balanced with the patient's facial features. Rather than changing their appearance, the treatment enhanced what was already there, resulting in a refreshed look that still felt completely natural.
