Justin Kohll, president of Preventative Medical Clinic, has been a practicing pharmacist for more than 35 years. He created Preventative Medical Clinic to help women and men look and feel their best, now and 20 to 30 years from now, with a range of med spa and wellness services, including:

- Medically supervised weight loss
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for aesthetics, sexual dysfunction, and pain

Today, PMC includes 2 clinics, one in Omaha and the other in Millard, with a staff that has grown from 1 employee in 2007 to 15.
Justin’s lifestyle reflects his belief in living your best life, as he spends as much time as possible outdoors and exercising. He and his wife have 4 children.

We’re especially proud of our designation as an Allergan Top 1% location and top 1% provider of BOTOX® Cosmetic and JUVÉDERM® in the country. In addition, our providers have been awarded Black Diamond Status by Allergan, and we are one of 1% of the practices in the nation to receive the honor of master Black Diamond injector certification. PMC appreciates the recognition, experience, and expertise of our injectors.
Innovations in pharmacy
Justin’s experience and expertise have been recognized by the Nebraska Pharmacists Association, which honored him with the prestigious Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award in 2009. Those innovations included:
- The first pharmacy in the nation to incorporate a medical clinic with a practitioner licensed to prescribe bioidentical hormones to patients, along with weight loss and aesthetic services.
- One of the first pharmacies to provide custom-compounded medication to veterinarians and zoos throughout the U.S.
- One of the first pharmacies to incorporate staff respiratory therapists to assist patients with their respiratory needs.
- The first pharmacy in Nebraska, out of 15 pharmacies in the U.S., to be designated by major drug companies as a contracted specialty pharmacy provider of fertility medication.
Founded in 1948: From the Kohll family to your family (our story)
In 1948, Louis and Leona Kohll opened a small pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska, at Leavenworth Street and Park Avenue. Unable to afford employees, the couple managed to keep the store open from early morning until late at night seven days a week. They depended on their teenage son, Marvin, to deliver prescriptions and run other errands.
The Kohll family soon earned the trust and confidence of Omaha physicians and their patients. Personal service and dedication to the health needs of Omaha and the surrounding area became the hallmark of the pharmacy. Justin Kohll established Preventative Medical Clinic in 2007 based on his vision to provide the latest treatments to help patients feel and look their best.
Justin has focused on compounding and med spa services. He continues to add the latest technology and services to give PMC patients the most updated treatments available in Nebraska and to continue Kohll’s tradition of more than 70 years of dedicated service to thousands of people.
