AFT (Advanced Fluorescence Technology) Laser Treatment
AFT treats surface skin problems including superficial vascular and pigmented irregularities, age spots, fine lines, and broken capillaries to improve a patient’s skin color.  AFT takes short-wavelength light and converts it into part of the usable spectrum through a special filtering system. AFT increases emission and penetration, for safe and effective treatments.

Key advantages for patients

  • Reduce the signs of aging with a quick, 20-minute procedure
  • The “no downtime” procedure makes it perfect for lunch breaks
  • Treatment leads to continued effects over time

  • Can be aggressive, taking years off of your appearance
  • Can correct rough, scaly patches on the skin from years of exposure to the sun

DermaPen (Micro-Needling or CIT – Collagen Induction Therapy)
The Dermapen is an automated micro-needling therapy system that vertically pierces the skin to improve pigmented areas of skin including melasma and age spots. It naturally stimulates collagen and elastin with minimal epidermal damage, while enhancing skin rejuvenation results. Your skin will continue to create new collagen for up to two years post treatment.  The Dermapen’s automatic vibrating function increases the effectiveness of treatment by increasing the absorption of products, while reducing pain and discomfort. There are varying depths to the device that can be achieved depending on the extent of the skin damage.

Key advantages for patients

  • Safer and more effective in piercing the skin than traditional skin-needling rollers
  • Evens out hyperpigmentation. Overexposure to the sun can lead to hyperpigmentation in the skin. Micro-needling can help shed the top layer of skin, leaving behind a more even complexion with fewer photo-aging (sun spots) and dark spots.
  • Diminish age spots by helping to shed the top layer of skin. Age spots fade away as the cell turnover creates a new top layer of healthy skin.
  • Can improve skin appearance on your hands by triggering elastin and collagen growth reducing wrinkles, age or sun spots.

Rosacea

Preventative Medical Clinic, a division of Kohll’s in Omaha, Nebraska, is ready to help treat your rosacea. Let’s talk about the solution that’s best for you.

What is Rosacea?

  • Characterized by a redness on the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead that may come and go
    • In some cases, rosacea may also occur on the neck, chest, scalp or ears.
    • Over time, the redness tends to become ruddier and more persistent; visible blood vessels may appear.
  • Can affect all ages but onset is usually after the age of 30
  • Can be triggered by a number of factors, including exercise, sun and wind exposure, hot weather, stress, spicy foods, alcohol, and hot baths
  • Left untreated, bumps and pimples often develop.
  • In severe cases, the nose may grow swollen and bumpy from excess tissue.

Solutions:

AFT (Advanced Fluorescence Technology) Laser Treatment

  • Treats surface skin problems, includingsuperficial vascular and pigmented irregularities, age spots, fine lines and broken capillaries to improve a patient’s skin color
  • Reduce the signs of rosacea with a safe and effective 20-minute procedure

Rosacea is caused by hypersensitivity of the blood vessels in your face and long-term rosacea can minimize collagen in the skin. By producing a significant amount of collagen with micro-needling, hypersensitivity of the blood vessels is decreased, which soothes redness.

  • Skin will continue to create new collagen for up to two-years post-treatment

  • Device can achieve various depths depending on the extent of the skin damage
